Job description:
Windstream Services is looking for a skilled Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines across our various project locations. You will work both onshore and offshore to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions.
- Install and retrofit wind turbine components to enhance performance.
- Follow safety protocols and participate in safety meetings and training.
- Document service activities and provide detailed reports.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with wind turbines is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
